Weihai Dream Sea National AAAA Scenic area
Covering an area of 8 square kilometers, Dream Sea--Cultural Tourism & Health Town (National AAAA Scenic Area) has rare natural resources such as sea, beach, hot spring, island, forest and Swan Lake, and has the functions of leisure, recreation, tourism, shopping, food, business and outbound residential vacationing, and receives more than one million tourists annually. In the future, the Dream Sea will focus on the "tourist vacationing + big health" industry, subdivide eight industrial systems, plan six functional sectors, and build a future dream city marked by the all-round coordinated development of "life, ecology, production and livelihood".
Dream Sea-Jiming Island Scenic Area is located in the sea area about 8 km north of Cape Tiger Head, Rongcheng, Weihai. It is named Jiming (Cockcrow) because of being shaped like a cock very much. In 2017, it became the only natural village in Rongcheng selected as "one of the beautiful and livable villages in Shandong Province". In 2018, Jiming Island was included in the Dream Sea, a national AAAA scenic area. By relying on the beautiful scenery and multi-cultural characteristics of Jiming Island, the Dream Sea endeavors to create a delicate insular leisure destination with a high cultural taste and a profound humanistic connotation, and display the purest essence of Jiaodong's insular culture, with a maximum respect for the local customs and practices and historical features on the island, based on the three themes of art island, parent-child park and maritime sports.
Dream Sea-Swan Lake Resort Town is located on the side of Swan Lake, one of the largest wintering habitats of whooper swans in Asia. From October to March of the next year, tens of thousands of whooper swans come here from Siberia for wintering habitation. They are playing in water, searching for food and multiplying themselves here, constituting a pure and beautiful artistic landscape. The core area of Swan Lake Resort Town now operates B&B inns, food & beverage, Whooper Swan Science Museum and other projects. It is a high-end resort destination for viewing whooper swans at close range, experiencing original ecological seaweed-roofed houses, tasting authentic Jiaodong seafood and understanding swan culture.
Dream Sea-Adventure World is an immersive, high-tech and highly-interactive adventure theme park particularly developed by Dream Sea. It is also the first indoor and outdoor one-stop comprehensive adventure experience center in Weihai, integrating natural exploration, health sports, high-tech recreation and other functions. The project has four indoor venues including Amusement Racing Center, Ice and Snow Adventure Center, High-Tech Sports Center and Flight Cinema, and an outdoor activity area of 80 hectares.
